The Ministry of the Russian Federation of Communications and Informatization
The Ministry of the Russian Federation of Communications and Informatization is a federal public authority, which conducts state policy and carries out management in the field of communications (electric and post) and information science, including development and use of new communication technologies, and also coordination of activities of other federal public authorities in this area.

The ministry of the Russian Federation of Communications and Information Science carries out management of the service of state supervision over activities in the field of communications and information.

Primary objectives of the Ministry of the Russian Federation of Communications and Information Science:

1) development and realization of state policy in the field of telecommunications, post communications and information;

2) regulation of the activity in the field of use of the radio-frequency spectrum and orbital positions of commercial communication satellites, except for the questions concerning assignment and operation of radio frequencies and orbital positions of communication satellites of civil purpose for the purposes of telebroadcasting, development of means of mass communications and distribution of mass media;

3) state supervision over activities in the field of communications and information;

4) maintenance of work of state commissions on telecommunication, radio frequencies and information.
